Other information FOCUS ON STUDIES
He balances his fencing with full-time study at the Budapest Business School in Hungary, but remains committed to his ultimate dream of winning an Olympic medal. "It's not easy, but I'm trying to invest a lot of energy into my studies because I think it's important to have already have a degree once my sporting career has finished. It also helps me to not focus solely on fencing all the time, especially during exam time. Obviously, my goal is to be an Olympic champion, either in Tokyo [2020] or later. But I will not feel like I have wasted years of my life if I don't achieve these, I have already achieved results that are remarkable and I'm proud of this. But my motivation is an Olympic gold medal, and I will do everything for this." (sportmenu.hu, 20 Feb 2019; nlc.hu, 14 Jul 2017)
