Why this sport? "My brother also practised fencing. It so happened that our parents worked with a coach in business. After school, my brother and I went to have lunch with them. The coach noticed us and offered us the chance to enrol in fencing. So we did not choose [the sport] ourselves, our father chose it for us. It was probably after [graduation from] school that I got involved in fencing professionally."
