Other information |
TIME ABROAD In 2013 he relocated from the UK to Copenhagen, Denmark. "I have a fantastic sport/life balance here. There are a small but very dedicated group of fencers in Copenhagen who are such a pleasure to train with. It is a fantastic environment to be a part of. I work in a performance coaching capacity and that has given me an opportunity to gain perspective on a lot of things relating to my own performance." (cphpost.dk, 31 Jul 2016)
DANISH FEDERATION In January 2017 he was named performance director for the Danish Fencing Federation. (LinkedIn profile, 2017)
ACTING DEBUT In 2011 he appeared in a music video for Two Spot Gobi. The six-piece band from Brighton, England, are his favourite musicians. The video saw him appear in his full fencing gear, sparring against fellow British fencer Ed Jefferies. "I'm pretty much their biggest fan but the acting was weird. When we did the winning scene, with an audience of people I didn't know, I had to do it seven or eight times. It was horrible." (bbc.co.uk 10 May 2011) |
