When and where did you begin this sport? She took up the sport in 1991 at age five.
Why this sport? She originally did fencing for fun with classmates, while also competing in equestrian dressage and showjumping at the same time. "At age 12, I had to choose between fencing and equestrian. It was impossible to do both. The financial aspect was a big factor because equestrian isn't really an affordable sport."
