FROM FRANCE TO SENEGAL Born in Senegal, of Lebanese origins, he grew up in France and received citizenship there. He represented France until 2010, at which point he switched to compete for Senegal. "In 2010 I was contacted by the Senegal Fencing Federation. I accepted their invitation to return and defend the colours of Senegal."
