NATIONALITY SWITCH Originally from Ukraine, she moved to Israel at age five after her parents received jobs there as doctors. In September 2013 she moved with her family from Israel to Samara, Russian Federation, after her father got a new job. She subsequently switched nationality from Israel to represent the Russian Federation in 2014. "My family decided on Samara as they knew one of the Russian coaches from there, but initially it was supposed to be in St. Petersburg.
