Her parents introduced her and her twin brother to fencing at the Peter Westbrook Foundation in New York. "We started the programme together. Peter Westbrook said that we had potential and that I could be an Olympian one day. My brother quit after a month, my dad told me that I had to keep going. It's that programme that led me to Columbia [university]." |
