Why this sport? |
"I was looking at sport clubs in our local area, and I discovered one of the few sports that my brothers and sister had not yet tried, fencing. I called the master at arms at the club, Jean-Baptiste Voute, myself to sign up. From the first session, I was hooked. Watching people in strange costumes fighting with swords, it was like being in the movies. There was a certain ferocity to it but at the same time it required control and precision, and that appealed to me from the start." |
